SUNWAVE (General) Enhancements
Easier Permission Management with New Role-Based Permissions Template
What’s New: We've introduced an enhanced "Permissions" tab within the Role setup in Practice Setup, along with a new "Apply Role Template Permission" button. This update allows administrators to define and apply permissions at the role level, which can then be selectively applied when assigning roles to users. This button gives administrators more flexibility and control over role-based permissions, reducing the need for manual entries or adjustments per user.
Why It Matters: This enhancement makes managing user permissions more efficient. By establishing default permissions for each role, administrators can ensure consistency and reduce manual setup time. It also minimizes the likelihood of permission errors, enhancing security and ease of use.
Who It’s For: This feature is designed for administrators who manage user roles and permissions.
How to Use It:
New Permissions Tab:
Go to Practice Setup > Role editing interface.
You will see a new tab called "Permissions."
Configure the default permissions for each role here. Notice the +/- buttons so you can expand or collapse by sections.
Applying Permissions:
When adding or editing a user, after assigning a role, click the "Apply Role Template Permission" button.
Select the role for which you’d like to apply the template.
A prompt will appear: "Are you sure you want to apply this role template? This action is irreversible.”
Confirm to apply the role's default permissions or choose to further customize permissions for the user.
Admin Control:
Only Admins can configure these settings.

Enhanced Box 76 Qualifier Management for Multiple Insurances
What's New: We've improved the management of Box 76 qualifiers by allowing users to configure multiple qualifiers for different insurance exceptions. This new feature adds flexibility, enabling you to specify unique qualifiers for each insurance, making it easier to meet specific payer requirements.
Why It Matters: Different insurances sometimes have unique requirements for qualifiers. This enhancement ensures that users can assign and manage qualifiers accurately across multiple insurances, reducing errors and ensuring compliance with payer-specific requirements.
Who It's For: This update is for users who need to configure and manage multiple qualifiers in Box 76 to meet various insurance specifications.
How to Use It:
In the provider setup, locate the "Secondary Identifier Qualifiers" section.
Use the "+ Add Insurance Exception" button to add multiple qualifiers for different insurances.
Each exception entry can be removed individually if needed.
Note: Users cannot assign the same insurance twice within the exceptions, ensuring accuracy in configuration.
