Signature ID Now Displayed in Electronic Signatures for AHCCCS Compliance

What’s New: We have enhanced the electronic signature functionality to now display a unique Signature ID (SID) directly below the user's signature in both the Sunwave UI and exported formats. This enhancement ensures compliance with the latest AHCCCS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System) requirements, without the need for additional tools like DocuSign.

Why It Matters: AHCCCS recently introduced a new compliance requirement, mandating that all electronic signatures must include a unique signature identifier. By quickly implementing this enhancement, we ensure our customers remain fully compliant with AHCCCS guidelines while maintaining efficient and streamlined workflows.

Who It’s For: This update is specifically for billing administrators and users handling signatures in Sunwave, particularly for those working with Arizona-based Medicaid services under AHCCCS compliance.

How to Use It:

When a user signs a document, their Signature ID (SID) will now automatically appear beneath the signature in the following format:

User Name on [Date]

SID: [Unique Signature ID] (e.g., SID: SW74305435).

This change applies to both the Sunwave UI and all exported/printed versions, ensuring that the compliance requirements are met in every format.
