Patient Engagement Enhancements

Allow Service Date on PE Forms to be Based on Patient Signature Date

Where to Find it: Search Patient > Patient Engagement > Create Envelope > Service Date for N-Forms Instances & New Instance

What's New:

  • A new checkbox option: "Base service date on patient signature date"

  • When checked, the Service Date field becomes uneditable

  • The service date on various reports and patient chart will reflect the patient's signature date

Why It Matters:

  • Ensures accurate billing based on actual date of service

  • Helps billers see what's been billed and what still needs billing

Related Feature: Add "Enable Signature-Based Service Date" Flag in Manage Realms

Where to Find it: Master Data > Manage Realms

What's New:

  • A new flag: "Enable Signature-Based Service Date"

  • When turned on, all features related to the patient's signature date in Patient Engagement are activated

  • When off, these features are not available, preventing unintentional usage

Why It Matters:

  • Provides flexibility for different customers' needs

  • Prevents unintentional usage of features not relevant to certain operations

RCM Enhancements

Addition of "Service Facility ID" Field to Ad-hoc Reports

Where to Find it: Ad-hoc Reports > Dimensions

What's New:

  • New field: "Service Facility ID"

  • Placed under the "Dimensions" header, following the "Service Facility ID" field

  • Users can drag this new field into their reports

  • Users can filter data by "Service Facility ID" when clicked on in the table

Why It Matters:

  • Provides more granular data for users creating custom reports

  • Enhances user control over data analysis and reporting

Create New APIs for Payments Report by Payment Date and Deposit Date

Where to Find it: Accessible via new endpoints

What's New:

  • Two new APIs for Payments Report data retrieval

  • One API filters by "Payment Date": New Endpoint

  • The other API filters by "Deposit Date": New Endpoint

  • Appropriate error messages for invalid date parameters

Why It Matters:

  • Allows more tailored access to Payments Report data

  • Enhances control over data retrieval based on specific date ranges

Add "Claim Status" to Payments Report

Where to Find it: Billing > Payments Report

What's New:

  • A new filter: "Claim Status"

  • Allows users to sort and view payment data based on various claim statuses

  • Available statuses for filtering: Manual Hold, Ready, Submitted, Rejected, Denied, Re-Generate, Paid, Void, Hold, Edit

Why It Matters:

  • Provides users with deeper insights into their payment data

  • Improves productivity and precision when using the Payments Report

How to Use It:

  • Navigate to Billing > Payments Report

  • Select desired claim statuses in the new "Claim Status" filter

  • The Payments Report will then show data corresponding to the selected claim status(es)

Add Billing Facility Column to Manage Services Table in Master Data > Manage Services

Where to Find it: Master Data > Manage Services

What's New:

  • A new column: "Billing Facility"

  • Positioned to the right of the "Description" column

  • Displays what is listed in the "Bill Under Legal Entity" details from within the service

  • Applies to both active and deleted services

Why It Matters:

  • Provides enhanced visibility and management of service data

  • Enables users to quickly view the legal entity under which a service is billed

How to Use It:

  • Navigate to Master Data > Manage Services

  • The new "Billing Facility" column appears to the right of the "Description" column

  • For each service, the "Billing Facility" column displays the name of the legal entity under which the service is billed

Note:

  • If a dropdown item is not selected for a service, the corresponding field in the "Billing Facility" column will appear as blank on the Manage Services screen. This serves as a reminder to select an entity.
