How-To Reset 2FA via Authenticator App

If you have a new, lost, or changed device you will need to contact your System Administrator to reset 2FA.

How to remove previous device entries in Google Authenticator:

Android

  1. Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

  2. Tap and hold the desired entry; then, hit Delete (the trashcan icon)

iPhone

  1. Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

  2. Tap the pencil icon (top right).

  3. Select the desired entry to remove.

  4. Click delete (bottom of screen). Highlight important information in a panel like this one. To edit this panel's color or style, select one of the options in the menu.

For Administrators - Reset 2FA:

  1. Go to Practice Setup in the Left Pane Menu

  2. Select Users

  3. Enter your Password

  4. Search the User that needs to Reset 2FA

  5. Once you have Selected the User (via blue hyperlink) to the right you will see Reset 2FA

  6. Once Selected the User will need to sign back into Sunwave and follow the 2FA Setup Instructions.
