Topaz (Signature Pads): Set Up Instructions

This page contains information about supported signature pads and instructions for configuring and troubleshooting issues using them with Sunwave.

Topaz Signature Pads are only supported on Windows.

Supported Devices

Configuring Topaz Signature Pads

  • From the User dropdown, click Realm Setup:

     

  • Click the Signative Pad Device:

     

  • If using SigLite LCD Pad models (T-L460, T-LBK460, T-LBK750), select the Topaz Lite option.

     

  • For all other models of Topaz Signature pads, select the Topaz option.

  • Click Update to save your changes.

Installing Topaz Drivers

Topaz Signature Pads are only supported on Windows.

Troubleshooting Issues with Topaz Devices

If you get an error when trying to use a Topaz Signature Pad, try completely uninstalling the SigWeb drivers and reinstalling them using the instructions above.

Here is another tip:

Follow these steps below.

  1. Download the Topaz Sigweb Driver SigWeb Browser Electronic Signature SDK - Topaz Systems   (Topaz Signature Pad should not be connected to the computer while doing this)

  2. Install the driver

  3. Plug the USB cord into the computer

  4. Go to our test patient and try to sign off on a form. (When signing with the Pad, press the button "Use Pad").
