Lab Panel
Requires “Admin Billing” permission in User Profile to access Master Data
Creating a Lab Panel
Navigate to the Left Panel → Master Data → Lab Services Panel
Click the
button and select your Lab that you’re configuring for (if there are multiple labs connected to the realm)
Give this panel a name (this name will be viewed by all users)
Select the codes that you’d want in this panel by typing the code, or description
Once the lab services are added, click “Save”
Editing a Lab Panel
Navigate to the Left Panel → Master Data → Lab Services Panel
Click the on the ID to edit the Lab Services Panel
Make your update in the panel, then click “Save”
Ordering the Lab Panel
In the patient chart, create your Bidirectional Lab Order form (form name may vary based on your changes)
Lab: Choose the lab you’re sending this requisition to (panels will depend on on which Lab is chosen)
Once the lab is chosen, you can select your panel in the Services table header
In the Services Panel pop-up, select the panel you’d like to order with the “+” icon
Lab Requisitions
Send Lab Requisitions
In the patient chart, create your Bidirectional Lab Order form (form name may vary based on your changes)
Load your current medications with the “Load” button
Load your diagnoses with the “Copy from Header” link
Complete the Point of Care section
Requisition Id: A requisition number will be automatically generated
Lab: Choose the lab you’re sending this requisition to
Date Collected: Enter the date & time specimen was collected
Who to Bill: Insurance/Client/Patient Billable?
Ordered By & Ordered Via: Select the Provider that ordered the lab requisition and how it was ordered
Temperature: Input the patient’s temperature
Services: manually type in the service code/description
Click the “+” icon to add more services to the requisition
Complete the POC (optional)
Use the radio button to select either yes or no if this applies to the client
Have User and/or Patient sign form
When you’re ready to send the requisition, scroll to the top of the page and click the “Send Requisition” button & confirm
View history of reqs sent with the “View History” button
Print Labels with Dymo
If you need to print labels make sure you have set up the Dymo Label Printer setup prior to clicking on the “Print Label” button.
View Lab Requisitions
User needs “Lab Requisitions” permission in order to see this interface
Left Menu → Labs → Lab Requisitions
History of labs sent in a daily/weekly view
Report includes
Requisition Date
Requisition #
Patient Name
Requisition Status
Error Message for Missing Insurance Information Pop-Up
Did you get this error message when trying to send a requisition?
To transmit the insurance information from the Face Sheet, go to the Menu button in the patient chart an click "Primary Insurance"
Then, click the "+" icon above the Insurance table in the pop-up and enter the insurance information and start- and end-dates. Click "Send":
Copy the Face Sheet Insurance Information over into this pop-up with the two-paper icon:
Confirm the pop-up, then click "OK" to close out of the Insurance pop-up:
You should now be able to send your requisition!
Lab Results
Sign Lab Results
User needs “Licensed to sign lab orders” permission in order to do this action
Left Menu → Labs → Pending Signatures
Choose the lab you’re wanting to see results for
This report will show you all unsigned labs in PDF/HL7 format

Reported At
Patient Name
Primary Counselor (assigned in the Patient’s chart)
To review the results, simply click the row of the pending lab result
Once the results are reviewed, the user will check the checkbox in the first column of the results table
The user will then click the “Sign Selected” button above the results preview box
Un-assign/Delete a Lab Result in the Patient Chart
User needs “Allowed to Delete and Un-Assign Lab Results from patient chart” to do this action
In the patient chart, locate your Lab Results form (form name may vary based on your changes)
Select the result you want to delete/unassign from patient
Click the Unlink icon to unassign the results from the patient chart
Confirm
When you unassign a result from the patient chart, the result will reside in Orphan Labs
Click the Trash icon to delete the results from the patient chart
Orphan Labs
View Orphan Labs
Orphan labs occur when the Lab Interface cannot assign the lab results to a specific patient (ex. typos in patient name)
Left Menu → Labs → Orphan Labs
Click on the checkbox to see the lab results
Assign Orphan Lab Results
To assign the orphan lab result, click the “Assign” button at the top of the lab result preview box
Complete the header information for date duration, then click “Search”
Click on the row of the patient you’re assigning the result to and click the “Assign” button
Delete an Orphan Lab Result
To delete the orphan lab result, click the “Delete” button at the top of the lab result preview box
