How To ReOrder Medications within Sunwave and ePrescribe
The process for reordering meds can be done for two situations:
When client has refills left
When all refills have been exhausted
This video will guide you on how to reorder for each scenario and when you would need to resend to ePrescribe versus when not to.
Written Instructions -
Go to your medication that is listed under “Expired Orders” and click on the medication name
Click on “Re-Order” to update the refill count and place back in Active Medications
Update the new order as needed with refill quantity, start date, and ordering provider. Click Re-Order again when completed.
You have successfully updated the Active Orders and MAR
In the event you need to update refill count and send to ePrescribe, You can check the box and push over within the normal workflow of ordering medications via ePrescribe.
