How to Use The Opportunity Report
What: What is the opportunity report?
The opportunity report provides all demographic information about the opportunity you have created, and any information having to do with the future stay of the patient
This includes:
Service facility, level of care, admissions, the stage they are in, outcome, etc.
Why: Why is the opportunity report important?
The opportunity report is important to tracking all of the opportunities you have had in your system
You can find out all the demographic information regarding each opportunity
Patient information (name, address, gender, religion etc.)
Insurance information
Subscriber information
You can track all the current opportunities you have
The stage they are in
What level of care they are scheduled for
The level of care they admit to
What service facility they are scheduled for
The the service facility they admit to
Their admission date
The referral source they came from
You can find out how well the admission representatives are doing
The outcome of the opportunity
Abandoned, lost, transferred, successful
You can compare how well each admission representative did comparing each one to the outcomes of the patients
When: When should you use the opportunity report?
You should use the opportunity report to track all current and past opportunities
Current opportunities:
This could help you track where the opportunity is and just a quick look at all information you want to see on your current opportunities including when they plan to admit, their demographic information, and what service facility and level of care they are scheduled for
Past opportunities:
You can see how well your opportunities are doing
If they have admitted, or if they have been abandoned, lost, or transferred
You can even track your admission representatives and see how well they are doing compared to the outcome of the opportunity
How: How do you use the opportunity report?
First thing when you log in, is click on the CRM tab
When you open the tab, towards the bottom, there is a report titled, “Opportunity Reports”
When you go into it this screen will appear below:
You have the option to search by when the opportunity was created on, their target admission date, admission date, abandoned date, lost date, and when the opportunity was scheduled on
You then can select the date range you want to view the opportunities for
After that you can hit the play button and the report will open up
After you create a report, you can save the report and open it up in your list of saved reports to make it easier on yourself that you don’t have to build the report every time
After you click play this screen will appear with all the information
You can drag the information you want to view over from the left side column that says table, to the column that says count and the information you want to view will appear
As you can see, when you drag over the reportable fields, the information will then appear.
You can hit the drop down arrow and select the information you would want to see as well
You can move sound the reportable fields under the count column, which will affect how the report will appear on screen
After all said and done, you can then export to excel or download as a CSV, and that is located on the top of the table column
