Patient Engagement - Mass Send of PE Envelopes to Patients
What's New: Sunwave can now send welcome packets including consents, clinical, and financial forms to large groups of patients at the same time through our Patient Engagement component. New filtering options have been made available to allow the creation of specific lists of patients based upon Program, Level of Care, Counselor, Building or even Gender. Patients can also receive payment requests or be invited to book sessions on a calendar.
Why It Matters: Mass Patient Engagement can now handle intaking large groups of patients at the same time, making onboarding easier, faster and able to be done at the patients leisure. Users no long have to send welcome packets one by one but can instead create a list and distribute to everyone, saving much time and many clicks!
Who It's For: Therapists, Case Managers, Admissions representatives and others with access to Patient Engagement can now build lists of patients to send intake packets to.
How to Use This Update: Navigate to the patient engagement tab and select Create Mass Patient Envelope. Select your desired filtering criteria and select the specific patients to send communications to or utilize the check ALL box for everyone. Review your list on the right side of the screen and press create envelope. The Create Envelope screen allows you to send a payment request, include a calendar invite, attach various forms and even send a small custom note to all of your patients. After sending the packet, you can review whose opened or completed the forms in your Pending Forms area.
EMR Reports - Enhanced Patient Q's Report
What's New: Our Patient Q’s report has been enhanced to display all Q-rounds performed at a facility. We’ve also added robust filtering options like Date, LoC, Facility, Patient Name/MRI and Round Status. This report is available for export as a CSV.
Why It Matters: Providing a centralized report of all Q rounds provides our client’s an easy tool to use when needed to review a patients status over time and how they’re acclimating to care. JHCO and other regulatory groups often request to review rounds as part of accreditation or audit due diligence; utilizing our new Q rounds reports facilities can quickly and easily provide all requested documentation.
Who It's For: Clinical Directors, Medical Directors, Therapist, Compliance officers and others interested in how a patient is doing or those that need to provide requested documentation all have a centralized location to review Q round reports.
How to Use This Update: Under Reports, select Q’s report and utilize the filters to create your desired report.
CRM/Admissions - Enhanced Admission Restrictions: "Do Not Re-Admit" Feature
What's New: We've added a safeguard within the CRM. Once a patient has been designated with the "Do Not Admit" status, users will be prevented from admitting them.
Why It Matters: Previously, despite having certain flags like "Do Not Re-Admit Before Consult," there wasn’t an outright admission block. This new feature ensures that patients with a "Do Not Admit" status are not even able to be scheduled for admission.
Who It's For: This update primarily benefits the Admissions team, ensuring they have the tools to uphold institution guidelines, especially when it comes to patient admittance protocols.
How to Use This Update: From the patient's chart, navigate to Menu > Do Not Re-Admit. When you attempt to Schedule Admission for the patient from Opportunities, you will encounter a pop-up notification. This will inform you that due to the patient being on the "Do Not Admit" list, they cannot be scheduled for admission. To reverse it, you would need to do so within the patient’s chart in the same place you put them on the Do Not Re-Admit list.
