RCM Enhancements
Primary Counselor and Insurance Name Added to Authorization Review Report
What's New: We've added two new columns—Primary Counselor and Insurance Name—to the Authorization Review Report under Caseload > Authorizations Review. Additionally, we updated column names and filters for better clarity.
Why It Matters:
Primary Counselor helps users quickly identify the counselor responsible for a patient’s documentation.
Insurance Name allows grouping by insurance provider, making it easier to contact a company just once for multiple patients.
Improved sorting and filtering provide better organization and workflow efficiency.
Who It's For: This update benefits clinicians, billing teams, and administrative staff managing authorizations and insurance-related workflows.
How to Use It:
Find the Primary Counselor column to the left of Level of Care, with a filter at the top to view specific counselors.
The Insurance Name column appears to the left of the previous "Insurance" column, pulling from the Facesheet’s Primary Home Insurance.
The old Insurance column has been renamed to Position, and its filter has been updated accordingly.
Sorting is now available for the Insurance Name column to help with organization.
Expand Collections Warning Feature for RCM and CRM
What's New: Collections warnings are now saved at the account level instead of just the patient level, ensuring they remain visible even if a patient is discharged and later becomes an opportunity in CRM. This allows both RCM and CRM users to see and manage collections warnings consistently.
Why It Matters:
Ensures visibility across both EMR and CRM, so collections warnings don’t disappear after discharge.
Helps admissions teams make informed decisions about readmissions.
Keeps financial teams aware of past collections issues when reviewing new opportunities.
Who It's For: RCM and CRM users managing patient accounts, collections, and readmissions.
How to Use It:
Collections warnings now appear in both EMR and CRM
Users with Collections Warning or Admin permissions can add/remove warnings from the Opportunity Header Menu in CRM.
Patient Header Indicators: Warnings still display in the patient header upon admission.
Hover-over Details for users without edit permissions in:
Patient photo section
Displays Activated User, Effective Date, and Comments
Removing a Warning:
Users must select a reason from a dropdown when removing a warning.
The dropdown values are configurable in RCM List of Values, allowing organizations to customize removal reasons.
The system logs the selected removal reason, the user who removed it, and the timestamp for tracking.
Reporting: Collections warnings and related details are now included in the Master Census Report and Dynamic Census Report.
Add Payment ID & Credit Card Transaction ID to GL Export
What's New: The General Ledger (GL) export in RCM Enterprise now includes two new columns: Payment ID and Credit Card Transaction ID. These additions provide better tracking and reconciliation of financial transactions.
Why It Matters:
Payment ID allows finance teams to track payments more efficiently.
Credit Card Transaction ID helps match Stripe and Authorize transactions to financial records.
Improves reconciliation accuracy in financial reporting.
Who It's For: Finance teams and accountants using the GL export for financial tracking and reconciliation.
How to Use It:
When exporting transactions from Financials > Accounting Periods > View Transactions > Export Transactions with Control Accounts, the CSV now includes:
Payment ID (Sunwave-generated Remit ID) placed after the Payment Type column.
Credit Card Transaction ID (for Stripe/Authorize.net charges) placed after the Payment ID column.

What’s New: SunwaveCRM now supports the merging of two accounts. This merge feature will bring all associated opportunities and patient records under a single account.

You can select data to copy from the ghost record if desired. Use the copy buttons next to each value or the COPY ALL button at the top. After reviewing the Updated Master Record Colomn press “Update” to merge the ghost into the master record.
