Prerequisites
Center does NOT have Sunwave’s CRM module in their Sunwave system/contract
User has the ability to add new patients/admissions
Steps
In the Left-Panel, click the “New Patient” button
As you type the Patient’s name, you will find an existing account with their DOB. If this patient matches the existing account in the system, select their name in the dropdown to be taken to their chart
In the PREVIOUSLY ADMITTED chart, click the Menu button and select “New Admission”
Input the new admission date and hour in the pop-up and click Add
You have successfully added a new admission for your existing patient.
To flip between the past and present chart, use the “Admission Date” dropdown in the Patient Header
Your patient is in the Pre-Assessment level of care. Be sure to update their Level of Care to reflect on your All Active Patients dashboard
