RCM Enterprise Enhancement

Separate Viewing of Control Accounts by Financial Statement with Prior and Cumulative Balances

What’s New: Control accounts are now distinctly organized under Income Statement and Balance Sheet tabs based on their classification in the Chart of Accounts. The new Prior Period Balance and Rolling Balance columns offer enhanced visibility into account activity and trends.

Why It Matters: This update provides financial teams with greater clarity by separating accounts into their relevant financial statement categories. It also simplifies account trend analysis by accurately displaying balances for both prior and current periods in one view.

Who It’s For: Designed for finance and accounting professionals who need organized and accurate financial data for reporting, reconciliation, and trend analysis.

How to Use It:

  1. Categorized Tabs:

    • Accounts marked as Income Statement appear under the Income Statement tab.

    • Accounts marked as Balance Sheet appear under the Balance Sheet tab.

  2. Prior Period Balance:

    • View the ending balance from the previous period in the Prior Period Balance column.

  3. Rolling Balance:

    • The Rolling Balance column displays the sum of the Prior Period Balance and the current period’s balance, providing a complete view of cumulative activity.

  4. Consistent Layout:

    • Accounts are displayed alphabetically and maintain consistent formatting across both tabs for ease of use.

RCM Enhancement

Enable Taxonomy Code Configuration for Billing Facility Alias

What’s New: Billing Facility Aliases can now be configured with unique Taxonomy Codes, allowing facilities with the same EIN/NPI but different taxonomy codes to be treated as one billing facility. This ensures accurate ERA mapping and smoother payment posting.

Why It Matters: This enhancement resolves issues with ERA mapping and reduces manual posting efforts. By accounting for taxonomy code differences, billing teams can achieve greater efficiency and accuracy in payment processing.

Who It’s For: Ideal for billing teams handling facilities with shared NPIs and EINs but varied taxonomy codes, where precise and automated payment posting is critical.

How to Use It:

  • Go to Billing Facility Alias settings in your configuration.

  • Assign the appropriate Taxonomy Code to each alias.
