User Permission - Manage Medication Orders & Templates

What’s New: Sunwave now offers new permissions allowing specific users to manage medication orders and templates. Granting this permission gives the user access to:

• Regular Templates

• PRN Templates

• Taper Templates

• High Alert Medications

• Pain Medication Reminders

• Med Frequencies

Why It Matters: This enhancement allows medical professionals to more closely manage and quickly change many of the medication default settings and behaviors in their EMR.

Who It’s For: This update is for facilities who want to empower their medical providers.

How to Use It: Navigate to Practice Set-Up → Manage Users using the left nav menu. Select the user you want to modify permissions for. Scroll down and locate the “Medications” permission set and select “Manage Medication Orders & Templates”.
