Alternative Authentication Methods

App Based Authenticators

Other app-based authenticators such as Microsoft Authenticator, Salesforce Authenticator, and Authy may also work to authenticate your log in to Sunwave. Please see your IT department and the alternative authenticator provider’s documentation to complete setup of those authentication methods.

Hard Token Authentication

If a user decides not to use a mobile device/app based authentication method, they will need to obtain a hard-token device. Please contact your IT department to discuss hard token authentication and obtain a device.

For Sunwave Admins - please contact your Customer Success Advisor to discuss the hard token options that work with Sunwave.

Use the following article for support in setting up hard tokens in Sunwave: https://sunwavehealth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SUNWAVE/pages/160202778/Two+Factor+Authentication+2FA#Hard-Token-Authentication
