Ability to edit Action Orders

Action orders can now be edited and have the ability to Re-Order and Discontinue & Duplicate just like medications. This can be done by clicking the Description of the action order.

Ability to edit medication orders on the Dashboard

For users who can approve medication orders from the dashboard, they now have the ability to edit the medication order. When an approver views their dashboard to review “Med Order Ready for Approval”, “Controlled Substance Orders Ready for Approval”, or “Action Orders Ready for Approval”, the description is now a clickable link that opens a details modal.

  • A medication order is created by a staff member and goes into a created state

  • From a user who can approve orders the link is now clickable

  • When the description is clicked, the Order Details opens allowing for Re-Order, Discontinue & Duplicate functionality.

Ability to require a second nurse signature when adjusting Medication Inventories

Customers with Facility/Patient Medication Inventory now have the option to require a second signature when adjusting a medication inventory when required by law.

  • A user makes an adjustment to a Medication Inventory:

  • Clicks Sign & Save:

  • After applying the first Signature to the Adjustment, user will be prompted to select a user to provide the second signature:

  • The selected user can then enter their Password and click Proceed to Sign to apply the second signature.

Ability to specify in Med Frequencies the frequency value used when sending orders to Dr. First

For Fixed Schedule Med Frequencies, Dr. First requires the frequency to be specified in a certain format which is different than the default pattern Sunwave sends. Using ‘TID’ as an example:

  • Go to Practice Setup > Med Frequencies:

  • Click on an existing Fixed Schedule Med Frequency (or click the New Frequency Schedule Template to create a new one).

  • Select the appropriate Dr. First Frequency for the Med Frequency:

  • Click Update to save your changes and you will see the selected Dr. First Frequency in the list of Med Frequencies:

Support for multi-page (greater than 22 lines) UB04 claims when using Waystar clearing house

When generating claims for Waystar with greater than 22 lines (dates of service), claims will automatically be created as a single claim number with multiple pages.

There are no configuration change required to enable this functionality.

Ability to specify Atlantic Standard Time (Antigua) in Realm Setup

Customers are now able to set the time zone of their realms to Atlantic Standard Time (UTC -04:00).  This is labeled as “America/Puerto_Rico”.  Important information to note; this time zone does not use daylight savings time.
